TriMedia Environmental & Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Hygienist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be based from our headquarters office in Marquette, Michigan, or one of our field offices in Kalamazoo, MI and Superior, WI, or will be based remotely with intermittent travel to our HQ for the right candidate.
Strong candidates will have a thorough understanding in field industrial hygiene practices and procedures, capable of independently designing exposure assessments, managing projects, reviewing data, preparing proposals, and providing technical oversight of reports and deliverables. Periodic travel to client sites and TriMedia offices is required.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage industrial hygiene and occupational health projects.
- Design and implement exposure assessment strategies for chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
- Oversee and/or conduct workplace exposure monitoring and field investigations.
- Review laboratory and field data, perform QA/QC checks, and develop technically defensible conclusions.
- Prepare and review proposals, work plans, reports, and client deliverables.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior staff.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and project stakeholders.
- Support business development and client relationship activities.

Qualifications
Required
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) fields.
- 5+ years of industrial hygiene experience.
- Demonstrated experience conducting and managing occupational exposure assessments.
- Experience developing sampling plans, reviewing analytical data, and preparing technical reports.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, MIOSHA, NIOSH, EPA, and ACGIH requirements.
- Ability to travel periodically (approximately 25-50%) for fieldwork, client meetings, project oversight, and company events.
Preferred
- Experience in professional services consulting
- Degree in Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Safety and Health.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- Experience mentoring staff and leading complex industrial hygiene projects.
Location
Marquette, Michigan, Kalamazoo, MI, Superior, WI, (preferred) or remote within the United States. Periodic travel (25-50%) is required to support client projects, field investigations, project management activities, and team collaboration.
